Khan-Atlas Festival held inTashkent

The Khan-Atlas Festival, devoted to the traditional Uzbek silk fabric khan-atlas, was held in Tashkent.

The event was organized by the Fund “Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan”, the Association of Designers and Fashion Designers “Osiyo Ramzi” and the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.

Khan-atlas is a unique fabric, which is very popular among the population and tourists who come to Uzbekistan. The clothes presented at the festival demonstrate the fabric’s beauty and uniqueness, “Osiyo Ramzi” chairman Holida Komilova said.

The festival, held for the fifth time, demonstrated the collection of models created by students and starting designers of Uzbekistan.
