Famous violinist Spivakov performs in Tashkent

The Youth Symphonic Orchestra of the CIS headed by famous Russian conductor and violinist Vladimir Spivakov gave a concert at Tashkent’s Turkiston palace on 5 October.

 

The concert was organized by the Fund “Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan” and other organizations.

 

Vladimir Spivakov was born in 1944 in the Russian city Chernikovsk. He made his first success at the age of 13 at the White Nights festival in St Petersburg. His solo concerts, as well as performances at the world-renowned orchestras around the world brought him great fame.

 

According to musicologists, Spivakov has the ability to deeply understand the creative idea of the author, and to skillfully convey it to the audience.

 

In 1979, the conductor organized a chamber orchestra Moscow Virtuosos, which opened a new chapter in his creative career. Spivakov also conducted concerts within with world famous orchestras of the Italian academy Santa Cecilia, La Scala opera in Milan and others.

 

In 1994, Vladimir Spivakov organized a charity fund to help orphans and ill children, and to support young talents.

 

The concert held in Tashkent allowed the Uzbek art lovers to get better acquainted with the multifaceted activity of the artist, and enjoy the magic of his music.
