General visa requirements for Uzbekistan

In general all foreign nationals are required to obtain a visa to enter Uzbekistan. The general visa requirements are not applicable to the following individuals:

Nationals of the CIS (except nationals of Turkmenistan, who do require a visa);

Transit passengers continuing their journey within 24 hours by the same or first connecting aircraft provided holding valid onward or return documentation and not leaving the transit area. And of course you need an invitation or visa support.
For citizens of the below listed countries visa support or invitation is not necessary:

Austria - Belgium - Germany - Italy - France - Japan - Spain

Citizens of the countries listed above can apply for visa themselves and get it within 2 - 4 working days.
Please note that citizens of Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Spain can obtain a multiple entry tourist visa for up to one month.
